They sat together in the center of the cloud, watching as they passed by several other clouds much like their own. Some held other people, holding one another much like they were. Delphi paced back and forth across her chambers worriedly. Rosetta had been gone for quite some time now. Just what sort of havoc could the blonde devil be wreaking on the mortals that were still left alive down there, if there were any at all.
She sat down on her destroyed bed and put her head in her hands. The tears just wouldn’t stop. How could she have done something so unspeakably horrid? Tortured or not, Delphi should have had better control of her powers. No matter how much she wanted to blame Rosetta for the destruction of the mortal city...she knew it was just as much her fault as it was her sister’s.
The image of the mortals still scarred her. She could still hear their screams...she didn’t dare look at what she had done…
